To ensure educators have the tools they need to train the next generation of restaurant leaders, the National Restaurant Association and National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation offer a variety of resources.

ProStart Summer Institutes

Secondary and post-secondary restaurant/foodservice educators can participate in intensive five-day workshops to learn cutting-edge skills to take back to the classroom. Skill development focuses on industry skills and teaching pedagogy. Participants who complete all three levels of instruction and meet all other requirements can apply to be Certified Secondary Foodservice Educators.
